Should you wish to view your data outside of the KaarbonTech GullySMART system the most common way to do this is via the Web Feature Service, also known as WFS.
This gives an up-to-date output of the asset and inspection data via a feed that can be viewed spatially in other GIS applications. In this example, we will be running through how to view the WFS feed in QGIS, a popular open source GIS platform.
WFS Feed Address
Access to the WFS feed can be found in the Operations menu. By clicking the WFS server link, you will be provided with the feed URL for your system.
The URLs shown here are for demonstration purposes only and should not be used.

Opening the Feed in QGIS
In QGIS, click Layer, then Add Layer, and then Add WFS / OGC API Features layer.

Click New.

Enter a name for the connection, and then enter the WFS address provided earlier into the URL bar.

Click the Drop down menu next to Feature Paging.
Select Enabled and enter 10000 as the Page Size.

Click OK
The new connection is displayed in QGIS. Click Connect.

Accessing the WFS feed requires a username specifically for this purpose. If you do not have a WFS username for your system, please contact support and we will create one for you.
Enter your WFS username and click OK.

Once connected, you will be presented with the list of available layers that you can access via the WFS feed. Click the required layer, and then click Add to load the layer. You can also CTRL+Click to select multiple layers at once before clicking Add.

For each layer selected, click Add Layers when prompted.

Click Close.

The selected layers are downloaded over WFS.
