If you have visited and inspected an asset without using the KaarbonTech GritSMART app on your tablet, you can retroactively add the inspection into the system in the Data & Insights hub.
Note: This is not recommended, as inspections and any other work should be logged on the tablet at the time and location of the works.
Adding an Inspection
Inspecting an asset allows you to record your visit to the asset and input the required information . The steps are the same for all assets. Enter as much information as you can.
From the map screen, navigate to the asset in question. This can be done by moving the map, or searching for the asset ID using the Find Menu.
Click the required asset.

Click New Inspection.

The asset information page is displayed.
Note: Every system is slightly different as it is customised for each customer. Some of the questions and/or photo uploads may be mandatory, and some may be checkbox lists rather than searchable fields.
You do not need to answer every question. You may skip any that are not mandatory or are irrelevant to your inspection.
